On October 22, six visitors from Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK), The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation and Hong Kong Cyberport visited WABO for an exchange with the team.

Experiencing neural interaction

WABO introduced its devices and interaction methods using physical products and system interfaces. Visitors also put on headsets and used handheld interaction devices to experience how the products are operated.

WABO is developing a neural intent model for embodied intelligence and next-generation human–computer interaction. The company is exploring how human goals, judgment and control intent can enter the chain of machine action, developing neural sensing devices, the intent model and system interfaces together.

Connecting with Hong Kong’s innovation ecosystem

The visit established a more direct connection between WABO and Hong Kong’s innovation and technology ecosystem. Its university research, technology transfer and international business networks offer opportunities to explore research exchange and overseas business.

WABO is currently advancing work related to outbound direct investment (ODI) for Hong Kong and preparing to establish a subsidiary there. In January 2027, WABO plans to exhibit its products at CES 2027 in Las Vegas; details of the products and arrangements will be announced later.
