WABO received First Prize in the Science and Technology Achievement + Startup Project category at the Sichuan provincial final of the 2026 “Create the Future” Entrepreneurship Competition.
The provincial final was held in Ya’an from June 16 to 17. WABO presented its project, A Next-Generation Brain–Computer Interface Terminal Powered by Ascend Computing + Brain Control for Everything, and received an on-site evaluation score of 95.13.
From signal acquisition to task interaction
The project presented an end-to-end system path from non-invasive neural-signal acquisition and model training to endpoint inference and interactive device output. Its purpose is not unrestricted mind reading. The system works within defined tasks, where signal features can be interpreted alongside context and converted into machine-readable input.
The competition evaluated technology projects alongside their engineering feasibility, team execution, and potential for practical application. For WABO, the provincial final provided an external review of how its technical program is explained, demonstrated, and connected to real system requirements.
The Sichuan selection was organized by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security together with other provincial departments and the Ya’an Municipal People’s Government. The award recognizes the project’s technical direction, engineering readiness, and potential for practical application.
