From July 31 to August 3, WABO operated a neural art experience at the Snapdragon Pavilion during ChinaJoy 2026. The system ran throughout the four-day exhibition and produced more than one hundred AI-generated artworks with participants.

A public closed-loop experience

Participants wore a non-invasive EEG headband, viewed feedback derived from their current signal state, and used those task-specific features as one input to the artwork-generation process. The experience did not attempt to read private thoughts or translate unrestricted mental content.

The on-site setup paired WABO’s signal-acquisition hardware with a laptop powered by the Snapdragon X Elite platform. Signal processing, model inference, and visual generation were completed on the endpoint, keeping the interaction responsive within a busy public exhibition environment.

What ran behind the image

The visible output was an artwork. The system behind it connected several engineering layers:

  • neural-signal acquisition and quality checks;
  • structured task data and signal processing;
  • model inference on the endpoint;
  • visual generation and immediate participant feedback.

Running the experience continuously across different visitors and changing on-site conditions provided practical observations for device setup, signal quality, latency, and interaction design. For WABO, the demonstration was a way to test how a neural-intent workflow behaves outside a controlled development setting.
