Define the scientific direction

Lead WABO’s core research agenda for task-conditioned neural intent models. You will connect scientific questions, multimodal data, responsible evaluation, and system integration into one coherent technical program.

What you will own

  • Define the long-term research roadmap and measurable milestones for WABO’s Neural Intent Model.
  • Lead research across neural signals, task context, and interaction feedback.
  • Establish rigorous evidence for model reliability, uncertainty, safe rejection, and responsible use.
  • Build staged evaluation practices across research and task-based system studies.
  • Guide model research and technical standards without separating scientific ambition from verified evidence.
  • Build and mentor a high-caliber research team while shaping technical reviews, engineering standards, publications, patents, and strategic collaborations.

What we value

  • A PhD or equivalent depth in artificial intelligence, neural engineering, computational neuroscience, biomedical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • A record of leading important models, algorithm platforms, or complex intelligent systems with clear responsibility for the outcome.
  • Deep expertise in neural decoding, multimodal temporal models, embodied intelligence, or an adjacent research area.
  • Strong command of contemporary machine-learning research and uncertainty-aware evaluation.
  • The ability to turn ambiguous company goals into testable scientific questions, technical metrics, and staged research plans.
  • Research judgment, engineering discipline, and the leadership required to move models into reliable online systems.

Additional strengths

  • Representative work at leading machine-learning, neuroscience, or biomedical-engineering venues.
  • Experience with multimodal models, BCI systems, HCI, or adjacent research areas.
  • High-value patents, datasets, technical standards, or experience building a research team from the ground up.
